We are a new electronic publisher specialising in all academic, scientific and professional areas, including Economics, Engineering, the Humanities, Law, Management, Mathematics, Medicine and the Social, Physical and Biological Sciences.

All our books and journals will be open-access publications, meaning that they can be accessed free of charge. The main idea behind e-academia is to provide free access to the newest research immediately after it has been accepted for publication. Currently, many publishers offer free access to original research that is two or three years old, but not to the most recently published studies, so we are hoping to fill this gap.

Our goal is to publish high-quality electronic journals dedicated to original research in a wide range of academic, professional and scientific disciplines. At present, however, we are focussing on the publication of learned but accessible guides for authors and editors working in these areas.

Our first book is the Guide to Academic and Scientific Publication: How To Get Your Writing Published in Scholarly Journals. This e-book was published early in 2014 and provides authors writing in English with practical advice on planning, preparing and submitting articles for publication in academic and scientific journals.

We now have a second e-book in the making and due for publication in the summer of 2014. Designed as a manual for professional proofreaders and editors, its focus will be the on-screen proofreading and editing of academic and scientific articles in the English language.
